Carmel Beach House

Project Description
This small cottage nestled close to famous Carmel Beach with bleached wood ceilings and newly refinished wood floors is the perfect spot for a second home. This 2-bed, 2-bath home called for ocean colors, calm hues, and light furnishings. We used natural fiber rugs, petrified woods, and lots of glass to bring in a beach feel.

About the Carmel Beach House Project
Living Room:
Petrified wood accent tables, Sunbrella stripe fabrics, and wool and jute area rugs make a calm cozy entertaining area for the family.
Guest Room:
Custom-upholstered bed in a crisp green and white compliment the wool rug and white porcelain gourd lamps. A cheery place to have guest reside.
Kitchen:
We added bead board around the breakfast nook, attached a contemporary light fixture, and found this great driftwood and glass dining table, then added wood and jute woven chairs.
Designer Notes
We so enjoyed working on this quaint cottage in Carmel By the Sea. So much natural light and warmth inside. Beautiful patios in the front and back of this house add to indoor outdoor living. Casual but chic house for entertaining and playing with the homeowners’ 4 rescue dogs!
